Terms & Conditions – The Offline Studio

1. General
  • These terms and conditions apply to all classes, courses, workshops and other activities organised by The Offline Studio, located at Oude Delft 207, Delft, The Netherlands.
  • By participating in an activity or joining a course, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Registration and Booking
  • Registration for classes, courses and workshops can be completed via the website (theofflinestudio.nl), by email (info@theofflinestudio.nl) or by phone (+31 628821161).
  • A registration becomes final once it has been confirmed by The Offline Studio and any required payment has been received.
3. Classes and Activities
The Offline Studio offers, among others:
  • Trial classes
  • Short courses
  • Ongoing courses
  • Beginner courses
  • Workshops
  • Open Studio sessions
Classes are taught in small groups to ensure personal guidance and attention.
4. Payment
Trial classes, workshops and courses
  • Payment must be completed in full before the activity starts.
Ongoing courses
  • Ongoing courses are invoiced in advance for each lesson period.
  • Invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date.
5. Holidays and Public Holidays
  • Regular classes do not take place during public holidays and school holiday periods.
  • Participants are only charged for weeks in which classes are held.
6. Absence and Make-up Classes
  • If a participant is unable to attend a class, notice must be given at least 24 hours before the start of the lesson. 
  • Missed classes are non-refundable.
  • If notice was given at least 24 hours in advance and space is available, the lesson may be rescheduled within eight weeks in another group.
  • Availability of rescheduled lessons depends on available places and cannot be guaranteed.
7. Cancellation of ongoing courses
  • Ongoing courses have a minimum commitment period of three months.
  • After this initial period, participation can be cancelled monthly with four weeks' notice.
  • Cancellation must be submitted in writing by email.
  • During the initial three-month period, the course cannot be cancelled early unless exceptional circumstances apply, at the discretion of The Offline Studio.
8. Cancellation of Workshops and Courses
The following cancellation policy applies:
  • More than 14 days before the start date: full refund.
  • Between 7 and 14 days before the start date: 50% refund.
  • Less than 7 days before the start date: no refund possible.
Participants are always welcome to transfer their place to someone else.
9. Cancellation by The Offline Studio
  • The Offline Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes, courses or workshops due to insufficient registrations, illness or unforeseen circumstances.
  • In such cases, an alternative date will be offered, or payments will be refunded in full.
10. Materials and Equipment
  • Participants are expected to treat sewing machines, tools and materials with care.
  • Damage caused by intentional or negligent behaviour may be charged to the participant responsible.
11. Personal Belongings
  • The Offline Studio is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to participants' personal belongings.
12. Liability
  • Participation in classes and activities is entirely at the participant's own risk.
  • The Offline Studio is only liable for damages resulting directly from intent or gross negligence.
13. Photography and Video
  • Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during classes, workshops and events for use on The Offline Studio website and social media channels.
  • Photographs and video will only be published after explicit consent of the participants.
14. Privacy
  • Personal data will only be used for communication regarding classes, payments and activities organised by The Offline Studio and will never be shared with third parties.
